The Mermaid, Avalon, age 8This amazing color pencil drawing caught my attention for its beautiful lines of the hair, the curve of the fish tail and the unusually developed perspective of the arms. After all this young artist is only 8 years old!
She drew this imaginary creature in order to sculpt a dwelling for it during Building Community camp.
